PerfPRO Studio in Movie Mode with a Sufferfest video workout loaded.
Video Workouts
With PerfPRO Studio you can associate any workout with any video. This allows you to build up your own workout video any way you want it.

PerfPRO Studio comes standard with The Sufferfest workout files (no videos) in MRC format. If you own any of these videos you can quickly associate them with the workouts and ride some really challenging and fun video workouts. Also, if you want to build up and sync a workout from your own helmet cam video you can do that. Just build the video, create a workout that matches it and you're good to go. You can also ride with a head cam and Garmin device and sync those two files up. If you're willing to put in the time of producing the videos with PerfPRO Studio you can have your own free video workouts. It's pretty sweet!

When doing workouts using video PerfPRO Studio goes into Movie Mode as shown above. Movie Mode keeps track of all the window positions so the locations of the riders and timer in Movie Mode are different that in normal mode. It makes it very easy then to adjust your positions in both modes and never have to drag windows around again when switching back and forth.

You may also associate a video with a past performance and ride the course virtually. This is simular to RacerMate's Real Course Video (RCV), but you are in charge of the video production. So if you have a GPS bike computer, like a Garmin, and a helmet camera you can go out and create your own virtual video ride. You just need to edit the video to make sure it matches up w/ the data from your Garmin.

Microsoft Windows Media Player must be installed on your machine (and usually already is) to do video workouts within PerfPRO Studio. If your operating system is Windows XP or Vista and you plan to run .MP4 files (e.g, Sufferfest Videos) then you most likely need the K-Lite Codec Pack. Windows 7 users should not have any problems running MP4 video files.
